Low carb diet is one of the most recognizable diets for weight reduction. It helps to feel full after every meal simoultounesly assisting faster loss of unnecessary weight.
The standard diet of a healthy person includes:
– 15% protein
– 30% fats
– 55% carbohydrates
LOW CARB diet contains:
– 30-35% protein
– 40-45% of fats
– 20-25% carbohydrates
People who decide to use a Low Carb diet should go for urine tests every three weeks to control the amount of protein. In order not to strain the kidneys, we recommend using the Low Carb diet with the standard diet (for example: two weeks of low carb diet for 1 week of dash diet).
